About LeeAnn & Journeys

LeeAnn works internationally with individuals, groups, and organizations to guide and facilitate spiritual growth. After nearly thirteen years of working in the not-for-profit, psychology, and art sectors, she founded Journeys In Living LLC in 2005. Since that time LeeAnn has committed herself full-time to her work as a Spiritual Guide, Teacher, and writer.

“My life’s work is to walk with others on their journeys to find wholeness, healing, and happiness. I believe passionately in the importance and necessity of being in community and knowing the sacred, in all its wonderful universal forms, as being central to our daily living.”  LAH

Although born in a small town in Indiana (USA), LeeAnn has had a love and connection with the Indigenous and spiritual traditions of the world for as long as she can remember. At the age of thirteen she made her first trip with her mother to the Mayan ruins of Tulum, Mexico. She fell in love and felt, for the first time in her life, that she had somehow come home.

In her late teens LeeAnn returned to southern Mexico. During the years since that time she has traveled extensively throughout Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras studying, participating, and continuing her spiritual journey. During these same decades LeeAnn also studied with leading spiritual teachers, academics, and healers of many different traditions throughout the United States.

Today, LeeAnn lives full time in the Tzu'tujil Mayan town of Santiago Atitlan, Guatemala. As a shamanic practitioner, gifted intuitive, community collaborator, and businesswoman, LeeAnn holds a diverse wealth of wisdom and perspective to aid others in finding clarity, alignment, and wholeness in their own lives.

LeeAnn is involved in a number of projects focused on preserving and sharing the sacred stories, songs, artwork, and rituals of the Tz’utujil Maya, as well as projects focused on cultivating sacred community and serving the needs of young adults. To learn more, click the button below.
